Help for Today: God’s Care  

Text: Matthew 6:28-30

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” Have you walked out in the early morning and noticed the dew on the ground? Have you looked toward the sky at sunset? Have you tasted a summer tomato between two slices of bread on a hot July day? Look at the birds. Listen to them sing. Why would we ever doubt God’s care for us?
