“Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell (Genesis 4:4-5)." Abel gave. Cain gave. They are united in the fact they both gave to God. They both made an effort to give. But, there was a difference. Abel gave his best. Abel gave first. Cain, well, Cain gave his leftovers. They both gave. God was pleased with one. I think today you know the “rest of the story.” Give first. Give your best.
